I live in South East England. I love all animals, especially cats, domestic and wild. I hate all animal cruelty with a passion. I love nature. Autumn is my favourite time of year. I love the British countryside and being in wide open windy spaces. I love colour and pattern. I've yet to discover my own personal artistic style and am still very much in the experimental stage, trying out different materials and ideas.
Some of my favourite artists are the early 20th century painters such as André Derain and the Fauves “The Wild Beasts” (a group of mainly French painters), German expressionist Franz Marc, Dutch post impressionist Vincent Van Gogh and the early work of Russian abstract painter Wassily Kandinsky (Franz and Wassily were both members of the Blaue Reiter (Blue Rider) movement, a German expressionist group). I really admire modern day artists David Hockney, Soraya French, Gerry Baptist, Louise Fletcher and Kellee Wynne Conrad to name a few.
